Schedules for Chemistry Degrees
Eckerd College has one Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and two Bachelor
of Science (B.S.) chemistry programs, including one certified by
the American Chemical Society (ACS). The main differences in the
requirements for these programs are as follows:

B.A. Degree: 11 core courses + 1
advanced chemistry elective

B.S., Uncertified Degree: 13 core
courses + 1 advanced chemistry elective
|
|
B.S., Certified Degree: 13 core
courses + 2 advanced chemistry electives
+ a chemistry research project

The schedules below are for students wanting either a certified
or uncertified chemistry degree. In the second schedule, asterisks
indicate courses required specifically for ACS certification.
