Eckerd College Chemistry News
 |
Jocelyn Cox (left, class of 2001) and Lisa Johnson (right,
class of 2002), two chemistry graduates, have recently been in the
news. Jocelyn co-authored research papers in the Journal of
Chemical Physics and the Journal of Physical
Chemistry, as part of her graduate work toward a Ph.D. in
physical chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lisa
recently earned her Masters degree in biology at the University of
North Carolina-Wilmington, publishing her research in the
Journal of Experimental Biology. Lisa is now in the Peace
Corps, working on Yap Island. She is a good example of how our
chemistry majors go on to work in a wide variety of fields.
