Eckerd College Welcomes New Chemistry Professor

Dr. Maciejczyk received her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Maryland, and her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Rowan University. She also did undergraduate work at Urals State University in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Dr. Maciejczyk's research interests are in the area of atmospheric chemistry, meteorology, and air pollution. Through chemical analysis and statistical modeling she investigates the sources of metals in ambient particles and their effects on human health. At Eckerd College, Dr. Maciejczyk teaches courses in general chemistry, both lecture and lab.
