Holger Mauch's research applies operations research principles to optimization problems arising in the sciences (in particular biology), and in the field of business administration and includes the development of software solutions. His international work experience as an IT consultant and software engineer with Siemens AG is complemented by a graduate diploma degree with a finance focus. He spends his leisure time with sports (especially soccer), astronomy and German literature.

Computer Science at Eckerd

The Computer Science major is a traditional computer science program that provides a balanced theoretical and practical foundation for careers in an exciting and rapidly developing technology area. Some graduates have begun their careers at large and small technology companies, while others have attended a broad range of graduate schools including MIT, University of Notre Dame, University of Texas at Austin, and many other national research universities.
