Professor Collins is interested in environmental and natural resource economics. She has her Ph.D. from The University of Tennessee where her dissertation addressed problems in valuing air quality.

Unique Courses

The economics program has a number of courses that don't generally show up in an undergraduate curriculum and traditional courses handled in untraditional ways. Here are some examples: History of Economic Thought, Marine Resource Policy, Leadership, the Human Side of Economics and Natural Resource Economics.
