Mary K. Meyer

Mary K. Meyer McAleese teaches courses in International and Comparative Politics, including the European Union, Latin American Politics, and US Foreign Policy, as well as Women and Gender Studies. Her published research includes her book, Gender Politics in Global Governance (1999, Rowman and Littlefield) and articles on gender politics in Northern Ireland. She is multilingual and has lived abroad and traveled widely. She has taken Eckerd students to Northern Ireland, London, and Central America. She has recently been elected Treasurer of the International Studies Association, the U.S.' main professional organization for international relations scholars.
