Research Interests: Organizational behavior topics include person-job fit, employee recruitment, selection, development, retention, leadership, organizational culture, and work-life balance. Organizational development topics include creation and maintenance of strategic alliances, corporate social responsibility, and change management. Other interests include topics related to the history of work, occupations, and labor.

Lora Reed graduated from Eckerd College (1991), completed her M.A. (1993), and created a small organizational consulting firm (1994 to present) after working with the federal government, including serving as a representative in grievance/arbitration and labor/management negotiation processes. She has designed, implemented, and evaluated multiple workforce development programs targeting diverse populations. Lora has written and implemented workforce development grants. She has engaged in various organizational training and development efforts for over two decades. Lora served as an Organizational Studies adjunct instructor in the Program for Experienced Learners at Eckerd College prior to joining the Management discipline in 2005.
