Prior to joining Eckerd's faculty as an assistant professor of management, Laura spent many years in the Boston area, where she pursued a career in marketing and general management before transitioning into academic research, writing and teaching. She has co-authored a book with members of the Leadership Initiative at Harvard Business School, along with producing case studies and numerous conference presentations. Her management experience came primarily in the fields of database marketing and technology, both in Boston and earlier in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is a proud native of Morgantown, West Virginia.
