MARINE SCIENCE

A minor in marine science consists of five courses to include the following: MS 191N Introduction to Marine Science, MS 342 Chemical & Physical Oceanography, MS 242 Marine Geology, MS 189 Marine Invertebrate Biology or MS 188 Marine and Freshwater Botany, and a 200+ level course focusing on marine science (e.g., Marine Mannalogy, Marine Geochemistry, Marine Stratigraphy and Sedimentation, Comparative Physiology or Ecology). These courses must not duplicate courses used by students to satisfy major requirements.
