Dr. Walker received his Ph.D. from Clemson University.  He is a graduate of Eckerd College who focused his graduate work on probability and statistics.  His research interests include time series analysis, mathematical statistics and computer performance modeling.  Dr. Walker served as the President of the Florida Section of the Mathematical Association of America in 1999-2000.  He was also selected as Question Leader for the 1998 reading of the AP examination in statistics in relation to his appointment as a faculty consultant to the AP Reading in June 1998.
