King Agamemnon must lead his army on a sea voyage to rescue Helen of Troy, but the winds at the Bay of Aulis have calmed. To restore the wind, Agamemnon must sacrifice his daughter Iphigenia. A mix of bawdy comedy and high drama, Iphigenia raises questions about what makes a hero in the modern world and what price must be paid to satisfy a country's lust for revenge.
