Study Abroad

Since 1999 Brian Ransom has taken three winter term groups to Peru, and he led a group to London in January 2003. David Gliem has also taken a group to London and Paris. Kirk Wang has taken two different study groups to China, and Arthur Skinner has taken thirteen different groups to Italy over the years, and a semester group to London. Eckerd also offers a Winter Term to New Mexico, where selected students can work with faculty at Ghost Ranch in photography, jewelry, ceramics or weaving.

Eckerd's Office of International Education features a very rich variety of opportunities to study abroad both for a semester and Winter Term. Prominent among the semester opportunities is Eckerd's Study Centre in the heart of London, at 35 Gower Street, where one can study Art History and Theatre with resident faculty.
