If you would like to join our engaged community of scholars, take the time to apply today. The vast majority of our new students apply for fall admission, but it is also possible to start at Eckerd in January (our intensive one-month mini-term). For all points of entry, we are on rolling admission. This means that beginning in October our Admission Committee will start reviewing completed applications. Once your file is complete and ready for review, a decision is made within four weeks.

Application Requirements
Domestic FIRST-YEAR applicants
- Application

- Official SAT I and/or ACT scores (codes: SAT, 5223/ ACT, 0731)
- Official High School Transcript and/or G.E.D. results
- Admission Recommendation Letter
- Personal Essay
Domestic TRANSFER applicants
- Application

- OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS OF ALL COLLEGE WORK attempted or completed
- Letter of recommendation from a college professor or teaching assistant
- Proof of High School graduation or equivalent. Students who have completed fewer than two full-time terms at a college or university must submit a final high school transcript.
- Student who have completed fewer than two full-time terms at a college or university must submit SAT I and/or ACT scores (codes: SAT, 5223/ ACT, 0731)
- Personal Essay that addresses important college experiences and reason for seeking transfer to Eckerd
- Letter from your current/previous institution's Dean of Students (or other official representative) reflecting good academic and social standing.
INTERNATIONAL applicants
- First Year International Student Application or International Transfer Student Application. You may use either the Eckerd College application or the Common Application.
- Personal Statement

- Standardized Tests
- Certified, true copies of your secondary school records and corresponding national or provincial examination certificates.
- If you need a visa to study in the US, you also need: Statement of Financial Responsibility & I-20 Verification Form signed by your sponsor AND Sponsor's original bank statement or letter dated within 9 months of intended enrollment. The statement or letter must be on bank letterhead and must specify the amount available for your education and support.
