General Application Instructions

Complete the Application for Admission and return it with a $40.00 U.S. nonrefundable application fee. Please make your check or money order payable to Eckerd College. All credentials become the property of Eckerd College and will not be returned, unless otherwise noted.

Step One

First step is to download the application from the links above. Instructions are on the first page of the application, so read the instructions that best describe you.

Please Note: Adult students (23 and over) living in the Tampa, St Petersburg, and Sarasota areas should contact the Program for Experienced Learners (PEL) office directly at 727-864-8226 for Admissions information.

Step Two

Depending on your status (Freshman, Transfer or International), you will need to provide the additional materials outlined in the instructions on the first page of the application. International Students should review the International Student Admission Process.

SAT I or ACT scores can be obtained through the College Board (800-728-7267) or the American College Testing Program (319-337-1313). Ask them to forward your official scores from all SAT I or ACT tests to the Office of Admission, Eckerd College. Eckerd College's code numbers are 5223 - SAT I and 0731 - ACT. Test scores posted on official high school transcripts are also acceptable.

Application dates for Autumn Term and Fall entry:

Early Action:
Applications completed by November 15; notifications sent by December 15.

Rolling Admission:
Applications completed after November 15; reviews will begin on December 1; notifications sent within 4 weeks of receiving all application materials.

Application dates for Winter Term entry:

Rolling Admission:
Applications and supporting materials must be received by December 1; notifications sent within 4 weeks of receiving all application materials. Students who wish to accept our offer of admission must submit your enrollment deposit no later than December 8.

March 1
Submit your FAFSA before March 1 for priority consideration. Eckerd College's school code is 001487.
