Explore Eckerd College is sponsored by the Admission Office at Eckerd College. Only students who have been accepted for the 2014-2015 academic year are invited to attend. It is necessary to register online for this event. If you are unable to attend one of the Explore Eckerd College events, please consider joining us for an individual visit at your convenience. For more details on the weekend, please view the tentative schedule.

Check-In

Visiting admitted students register for the weekend and receive schedule information. Parents will also receive information packets. While you wait you can pick up some snacks on the patio or purchase lunch at Triton's Pub.

Boat Rides
12:00 and 12:30 p.m. | WATERFRONT
Come learn about the many programs offered at Eckerd's own waterfront and take a ride on beautiful Boca Ciega Bay. Sign up for one of these boat rides by e-mail before arriving on campus. Please remember that additional boat rides will be offered on Monday.

Welcome Program - Your First Year at Eckerd College

Campus Tours

A current student will lead a tour of campus for admitted students and their families. Tours are optional and will leave periodically.

Attend a Class (Students Only)

Each student will attend a Human Experience. Students please arrive early to your class and introduce yourself to the professor. He or she will be expecting you. Consult individual student schedule for location of class.

Financing an Eckerd College Education
10:00 – 10:45 a.m. | MILLER AUDITORIUM
Join Dr. Pat Watkins, Director of Financial Aid, and Angie Noronow, College Bursar, for a general overview of the billing, scholarship and financial aid processes. You may also stop by the Financial Aid Office until 5:00 p.m. with your questions.

Eckerd College Clubs Organizations Mini Open House

Come learn about a small variety of Eckerd's student-run clubs and organizations. Admissions representatives will also be present.
