Welcome New Students!
We encourage any and all family members to join the newest members of the Eckerd College community for Autumn Term check in on Friday, August 9, 2013. Transfer students not participating in Autumn Term will arrive on August 28, 2013. There are events which will help parents and family members become better acquainted with the College.
Our New Student Guide is designed to help students and families navigate the start of their Eckerd educational experience. We've done our best to tabulate the information we believe is important for new students. Of course, we can't cover everything, so if you didn't find what you are looking for, please contact the admission office.

To Do List
If you only look at one section of the New Student Guide, make sure this is it. Memorize it, make a checklist of these items, add "complete Eckerd To Do List" to your To Do List and then be an internet sensation when you're able to help a classmate when they post "where is the housing application?" to the Class of 2017 Facebook group.

Get out your gcal, appleCal, mom's day planner and get these important dates recorded so you know what's happening. Some have more immediate use, like the Autumn Term Arrival Schedule, but the academic calendar is helpful too - get those winter break flights purchased early.
