Transfer Arrival Schedule
This schedule provides a basic roadmap for your first few days as a new Eckerd student. The schedule is tentative and complete details will be provided when you check in on August 26. 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Check-in - Mandatory - ATTENDANCE REQUIRED | Fox Hall
- Business Office & Financial Aid-You will have a chance to meet with representatives from both the Business Office and Financial Aid to complete check-in.
- Campus Safety-For on campus residential students, you will receive your room key and front door key code. All students will be photographed for their Student Identification Card and will have an opportunity to register motor vehicles, boats, and bicycles.
- Counseling and Health Services-You will discuss required immunizations and health forms that are needed to complete check-in.
- Career Services- Career Services will be available to answer your questions about employment on campus.
- Student & Family Relations- Families will pick-up a welcome packet and register their e-mail address with Director of Student and Family Relations Anne Wetmore.

"Welcome to Eckerd College"
Meet with the Dean of Faculty Betty Stewart, the Dean of Students Jim Annarelli, the Dean of Admission & Financial Aid John Sullivan, the Associate Dean of Faculty Marjorie Hardy, the Registrar Linda Swindall, Collegial Chairs, and staff and students in Fox Hall to learn important information to help you succeed while at Eckerd College. Following the information session, it is mandatory that you will meet with your Collegial Chair and schedule an appointment with your mentor.

Family Meeting| Faculty Lounge
Families are welcome to stop by the Faculty Lounge, located in Lindsey Hall, to meet with representatives from Student and Family Relations, the Health and Counseling Center, Financial Aid, Housing, Registrar, and the Bursar's office.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
International Students | Olivier Debure's office, Fox Hall
International students need to meet with Olivier C. Debure, Director of International Student Programs. His office is located in Fox Hall.
Welcome Dinner Meeting - REQUIRED | Fox Hall
This mandatory meeting with the Campus Activities Staff will provide valuable information regarding your orientation to Eckerd College and its many programs and resources. In addition, Eckerd's student government, the Eckerd College Organization of Students (ECOS), welcomes you to your new home with a catered dinner. The Executive Staff of ECOS will share with you ways to be involved on campus and introduce you to over 70 clubs and organizations.
Late Night Breakfast
Stop by Café Bon Appétit to fill up on a complimentary breakfast prepared by various faculty and staff of Eckerd.
Scheduled Meetings with Mentors (assigned the previous day) - REQUIRED
Meet your mentor and register for your Fall courses. Following the meeting, there will be a representative from ITS in the library computer lab to assist you with online registration if you have problems or questions. In addition, the Registrar's Office, located in Upham, will be available until 5pm.

Healthy Expectations - REQUIRED | Sheen Auditorium
Being part of a community of 1,800 college students presents some unique challenges. Staff will talk with you about finding your place in this community, adjusting to life in the residence halls, staying healthy while in college, making responsible choices about alcohol and other drugs, and knowing how and when to get help for yourself or a friend. You will also become familiar with the various health resources available to you.

UNLIMITED FREE BOWLING WITH YOUR STUDENT ID. Music, black lights, and fun. Bring nothing but your friends. Buses will be leaving from the mailboxes at 10:30 pm; directions will be provided for anyone who carpools.
