Tell us a little about yourself. What makes you a unique Eckerd student?
As a member of the basketball team, a majority of my time is devoted to the game. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to represent a great school playing the sport I love.
Why did you decide to attend Eckerd?
The rich tradition of the basketball program, the academic possibilities, and you can't beat the weather.
Do you have a "that's so Eckerd" moment?
Every time I see somebody walking around without any shoes on.
Eckerd is recognized as a College That Changes Lives (book by Loren Pope). How has EC changed your life?
I have never been in an environment with such a diverse set of people and beliefs. I have learned how to accept people that think and feel differently than I do, and use these differences to come to a better understanding of the world.
How would you describe the academic environment at Eckerd?
Encouraging. Students are encouraged to explore all opportunities and express themselves in the classroom.
How do you describe the social scene at Eckerd?
Close-knit and fun. There is always something going on on the weekend and it isn't usually very hard to find.
What are some of your favorite things at Eckerd?
I really like the mentor program. I enjoy the quiet places on campus where you can just chill out and relax.
