Tentative Schedule of Events
8:00 - 8:30 am | Registration at Hough Quad
A light breakfast will be offered until 8:30 am on the Fox Hall patio. Please enjoy breakfast and refreshments - lunch will be served at 1:15 pm.
8:45 - 9:20 am | Welcome and Information Session in Miller Auditorium
Learn what the Eckerd experience has to offer you! During this information session, we will cover aspects that make an Eckerd education a unique experience.
9:30 - 10:30 am Information Sessions
- Class Visit - Human Experience (Seniors Only)
Locations vary, please consult your schedule
- Inside Eckerd: Academics and Student Life (Juniors Only)
Learn more about the academic experience from faculty and students. Current students will join a panel to answer your questions about Eckerd life.
- Inside Eckerd: Student Affairs and Financial Aid (Parents Only)
Join the Student Affairs staff for an introduction to the Eckerd experience and have your questions answered by the Dean of Students’ staff. A presentation about Financial Aid at Eckerd will immediately follow this question and answer period.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm | Campus Tours begin at 11:00 am and 12:00 pm
Become familiar with our beautiful waterfront campus by taking a student-led tour. Those not attending the first tour will be divided and will attend the workshops. The second tour will leave at 12:00 pm from Fox Hall.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm | Workshops
*Each session is 30 minutes long and you will have time to attend both. Workshop times are 11:00 am, 11:30 am, 12:00 pm, and 12:30 pm. Families attending the first two workshops will go on the 2nd campus tour at 12:00 pm

Are there certain questions that you have about being a college student but are a little nervous to ask? Find those answers and other great advice by talking to current students.
- Applying and Your First Year at Eckerd (Junior families only)
A look at the admissions process and our unique program for first year students.
- Outside the Classroom
Learn about specialty areas that complement the Eckerd experience. You will hear from Career Services, Service Learning, and International Education.
