Reunion Registration/Check-In

Check in, pay your registration fee, and pick up your nametag and a schedule. Your nametag is your ticket into the weekend’s events!

Class of 1968 Reunion Planning Meeting
2 to 3 p.m., Vaught Conference Room in the James Center for Molecular and Life Sciences
Join members of the Class of 1968 to continue making plans for Reunion Weekend 2018.

2 to 5:30 p.m., Bevan Faculty Lounge
Members of the founding classes (1964-1968) and their guests will have their own room to gather and reminisce throughout the weekend. Light refreshments will be available.

Golden Triton Society Dinner Honoring the Class of 1967

The founding classes (1964-1968) will reunite for a casual dinner to honor the 50th Anniversary Reunion of the Class of 1967, who will be inducted into the Golden Triton Society. Members of the Class of 1967 will receive their class memory books in celebration of their 50th Reunion.

Reunion Celebration Dinner and Party

Dinner and refreshments, dancing, a live band, lawn games and a photo booth are among the activities available at the biggest event of the weekend!

Rainbow River Camping and Sampling
7 p.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday
Camping on the river overnight followed by snorkeling in the Rainbow River for freshwater turtles as part of a long-term research study. Space is limited and alumni with experience will be given priority. Contact Dr. Peter Meylan (meylanpa@eckerd.edu) for more details.

Memorial Worship Service
9:30 to 10:15 a.m., Wireman Chapel
The service will feature a memorial to those Eckerd community members we lost last year.

Farewell Brunch
10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Fox Patio
This casual and relaxing brunch caps off the weekend with omelets, bagels and lox, mimosas, and Bloody Marys.

Rainbow River Snorkeling and Sampling
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This option is for those not interested in camping Saturday night, but would like to drive up and join us for a day of snorkeling in Rainbow River to collect the turtles we will be sampling. Space is limited and alumni with experience will be given priority. Contact Dr. Peter Meylan (meylanpa@eckerd.edu) for more details.

Rainbow River Research Observation
2 to 4 p.m.
This option is ideal for families and people with children. Interact and learn about the turtles of Rainbow River. Several species of turtles will be available for a hands-on learning experience at the Rainbow River State Park Campground. As part of a long-term research project, alumni will be sampling the river’s turtle community in the morning followed by public participation at the Rainbow River State Park Campground.
