ASPEC “Summer Sampler” Visitor Program

Are you looking for intellectual stimulation, physical activities and social interaction this summer?  If so, ASPEC invites you to enjoy our "Summer Sampler" Program.

You and your partner are invited to become ASPEC guests now through August for just $100!

During this time, attend our many Interest Group sessions including: Medical Topics for the Layperson, Computers, Current Events, History, Religions and Faiths, Visual Arts, World Classics Literature, Science, Economics and Prosperity, Chair Yoga, Tai Chi and more, all led by ASPEC members. Summer social events usually include weekly wine and cheese socials, a monthly "Evening Out," at a local restaurant and a July 4th picnic. There are two film groups and much, much more.

We hope you'll enjoy your summer at ASPEC so much that you'll want to continue.....but there is absolutely no obligation.

ASPEC MEMBERSHIP

The Academy of Senior Professionals at Eckerd College (ASPEC) is a unique, exciting lifelong learning community which meets primarily at Lewis House, on the campus of Eckerd College.  We are a membership organization with approximately 300 members, including associates.  Our group is diverse and comprised of retired and semi-retired professionals from all walks of life.

ASPEC offers both full time and seasonal memberships.  An initiation fee* is required at the time membership begins and annual dues are billed quarterly.

We invite you to come and explore your intellectual horizons in a friendly congenial environment.

* Please note that for Eckerd College alumni and faculty, the initiation fee is waived.
