Ethics Bowl:  Once again Eckerd College showed its biting edge by outwitting, outthinking and clearing out all competition far and near at the 5th Annual southeast Regional Ethics Bowl Saturday. Kelli Barr and Catee Baugh along with their great team members took each school by surprise with cutting edge answers which reflected well on Eckerd College. Our own Naomi Block (head coach), Len Block, Bob Shepherd along with Kirk Eason and Julienne Empric were the guiding energy which helped propel such deadly bites into the ring of schools present at the Ethics Bowl Saturday. Again, congratulations to such a wonderful force!  Mary Johnson.

As you know, some of the art by Eckerd Alumni is in the front hallway of Lewis House. There is much more and it is well worth the time and travel to Elliot Gallery which is just around the bend from Lewis House, (open from 9-4:30 weekdays only, and the Armacost Library, which is open most of the time.  Allow at least an hour at Elliot, because there are DVDs and CDs which are great, as well as sculpture, ceramics, installations and 2 dimensional art. The info about the alums and what they are doing now is also fascinating. The exhibit is open until mid Dec.

From the Caring Committee: ASPEC members are doing a good job filling up the barrel for the St. Pete Free Clinic with non-perishable food and personal care items.
