Leo Szilard was the first scientist to see the possibility of atomic energy. He patented the idea of a chain reaction in the mid thirties, even before fission was discovered. In Atlas Shrugged Hal Leiendecker tells of Ayn Rand, her philosophy, and her novel Atlas Shrugged.
