Mission Statement

The Business Office within the Division of Business and Finance supports the mission of Eckerd College by providing high quality service to the internal and external community through the timely processing of financial transactions, interpretation of College policy and procedure, and accurate and timely financial reporting. The Business Office is responsible for managing the overall accounting and overall financial transactions at the College in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This includes developing and managing internal controls to mitigate risk; creating and presenting financial reports; and ensuring that the official accounting records of the College are accurate and timely.
