Responsibilities include
but are not limited to knowledge of all Recreation Service
Activities, answering phone calls and running errands. Hours are
8:30am to 6:00pm during the week. Excellent communication and
customer service skills along with a personable and pleasant
attitude are prerequisites. Data processing skills preferred. Hours
are flexible.
Protect the safety and well being of each patron using Eckerd College aquatic facilities. The lifeguard will work directly with participants providing courteous, friendly and professional assistance. Must hold current Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Training Certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to official's control and enforcing game policies and rules. Officials are needed for basketball, flag football, soccer and floor hockey. Assertiveness and knowledge of rules is a must. Evening and weekend hours are available. No prior experience necessary. CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the supervisor/official with the above mentioned duties and keep score and/or time for intramural contests. Evening and weekend hours are available. CPR certification is preferred.
(Aerobics, Circuit, Yoga, etc.) Responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading students, faculty and staff in aerobic sessions, preparing choreography and music. Excellent communication skills and vibrant personality are necessary. ACSM, AFAA, IDEA or ACE Certifications and/or experience preferred.
Responsible for the set-up, breakdown and inventory of audio/visual equipment used during performances for Campus Activities, Palmetto Productions and other student groups. Must have good people skills and an interest in audio/visual equipment. Hours are mostly weekends and evenings.
