As we pause to receieve God's blessings,
consider that in the eyes of the creator of the universe
one day is the same as a thousand years.
That means that to our poor, poor divine parent,
we are all 20 years old and we are all idiots.
The good news is - we are still teachable.

God's blessings are God's lessons:
the merciful will be given mercy
the honorable will not expect honor.

So go from this place now
filled equally with pride of your achievements
and with the awareness that
only with the attitude of humility
and the practice of empathy
will your achievements be worth anything.

Go - in the Spirit of Love that brought us this far
in the Spirit of Joy that fills us at this moment
in the Spirit of Hope that will carry us all on.
