Graduates and friends: This Commencement is memorable for all of us for many reasons, including this: At this weekend's meeting of the Eckerd College Board of Trustees, Eckerd College received a $25 million challenge gift, the largest gift in the College's history, from Board of Trustees Chairman Miles Collier and his wife, Parker.

This gift marks a transforming opportunity for Eckerd College.
