Hometown News Release

Congratulations on your graduation from Eckerd College! The Office of Communications would like to share your achievement with your hometown family and friends through a press release we will send to your hometown newspaper. Click here to check out a sample press release.

Hometown News releases will be sent out approximately six weeks after graduation. Please note that while a release is sent out by Eckerd, there is no guarantee that it will be printed. The decision to print a graduation notice is the responsibility of the editor of that particular newspaper.

If the St. Petersburg Times is your hometown paper, please note that in its current format, their Neighborhood Times section will only print achievements of a Master's degree level or higher.
