"Anytown High Grad David Graduate Among Eckerd College's 2011 Graduates"
[St. Petersburg, FL, Date] - Eckerd College is pleased to announce the graduation with honors of David Graduate, son of John and Jane Graduate of Anytown, State, and a graduate of Anytown High School. One of 540 Eckerd College graduates, Graduate received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with Honors with a concentration in Pre-Law and a minor in Law and Justice during commencement ceremonies in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday, May 22. U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, senior senator from Florida, was the keynote speaker.
A recipient of several college scholarships, Graduate was selected to become a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, the leadership honors society, and Alpha Kappa Delta, the sociology honors society. He was recognized by Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges & Universities. He also served his peers as a writing tutor, as a student ambassador in the Admissions office, and as a student government senator. In 2010, Graduate participated in the American Student Government Association conference and the National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing. Graduate plans to earn his J.D. degree from Far Far Away Law School.
