Q: I am a parent of a prospective student. May I stay at the Lodge while we are visiting the campus?

A: We welcome parents of both prospective students and current students. Many parents stay at the lodge throughout the year.

Q: Our church would like to hold a retreat at Eckerd College. Are your facilities available for such a group?

A: We regularly host church groups for weekend retreats, special events and planning sessions. The Conference Center has meeting rooms available as well as lodge rooms.

Q: Our group will need a variety of visual aid equipment. What do you have available and what are the charges.

A: Our A-V equipment includes video data projection equipment, laptop computers, overhead projectors, flip charts, slide projectors, bulletin boards, video projection equipment, CD/DVD and tape players and sound equipment. The price of the AV equipment is included in the Conference room charge. If your group uses 10 or more lodge rooms for your event, there is no charge for conference meeting space.

Q: How far in advance do I need to reserve space and lodge rooms?.

A: The farther in advance you can finalize your plans the more likely we will be able to accommodate your request. January, February and March are our busiest months and space fills up quickly for these months.

Q: How can I make a lodge room reservation?

A: You may call the lodge office at 727-865-7000, fax us your request at 727-864-7766, or submit an on-line reservation request form and your reservation will be confirmed electronically within 24 hours of submission.
