We are gathered here, a vast variety of God's creation.
The proud and pretentious
The sure and superior,
The exempt and the hourly,
The doers and the doubters,
The shakers and the stirrers,
The puzzled and the pondering,
The lonely and the lost.

All different, all waiting to hear a note of beauty, to see a spark of wisdom.

So, into the mouths and lives of those lead us put beauty and wisdom, holy God.

We wait with open minds and hearts.
