Fees

Most insurances are accepted including Eckerd College's Health Plan. Fees are charged for all diagnostic tests, allergy injections, immunizations, medications, supplies, minor procedures and physical exams. Payment due at time of service may be paid by cash, personal check or added to your Student Account. For more information on the Eckerd College Health Plan, please click here.

Health Insurance

If we accept your health insurance, and it is your ONLY insurance, you pay the co-pay listed on the front of your insurance card. If you also have Eckerd College's Health Plan, it becomes your secondary insurance and will pick up any deductible or co-insurance your primary insurance does not pay.

If Eckerd College's Health Plan IS the only insurance coverage you have (excluding any medical insurance coverage your parents may have for you), it will cover your visit with Health Services.

If Eckerd College's Health Plan is your secondary insurance, you can submit your claim form along with the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your primary insurance company. You must attach the EOB to the claim form and mail it so they can process the claim for any deductible or co-insurance.
