The object of this club will be to provide all interested Eckerd College students with the chance to learn and enjoy the game of rugby. This will be done through bi-weekly practices as well as games against other rugby clubs on the weekends.

EC Road Runners
The Road Runners will build character for all of the members by working with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Team in Training". Members of this club will gain a better self-discipline by training to run long-distance races and knowledge for nutrition and running safety through professionals from the "TNT" and club officers. The members will be part of a supportive team that works hard.

Martial Arts Club
One purpose of this club is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for those who would like to practice martial arts. Other purposes include teaching self-defense, building confidence, and physical fitness. Any background experience is welcome, but not necessary. Currently, there are Shim Shin Do, and Chinese Martial Arts (Luihe Bafa), with more classes coming soon!

Rock Climbers Club
Our goal is for students of all experiences to gather in the sport of rock climbing. We host events both at the campus rock wall and at off-site facilities. Every week or so we update the rock wall with new holds and climbing routes. Also, all members receive 50% off at Vertical Ventures Climbing Gym.

Surf Club
1. Promote unity among the surfers and other students at Eckerd College.
2. Provide a chance to participate in outdoor activities (primarily surfing and camping on both the East Coast and Gulf Coast for those who would otherwise not be able to do so (ie.- lack of transportation, equipment or funds).
3. To provide a forum and a resource for students/surfers to acquire needed information in order to become more acquainted with Florida's wilder areas (particularly beaches and state parks near beaches).
4. When waves are not readily available, members of the club will have a group that extends into the Eckerd College community with which they can partake in other experiences (ie. Waterskiing, wakeboarding, other board sports, camping, etc.)

Swim Club
The objective of this club is to promote physical fitness through swimming. This shall be accomplished through swimming instruction for all levels and group participation in swimming workouts games and races. We shall also provide swimming related activities with area swim clubs as well as information about local competition events such as open-water swims and triathlons when that information is available.

Triton Wake/Kiteboarding
The purpose of this club is to promote the sports associated with the life of a waterman. This includes kiteboarding, wakeboarding, paddlesurfing, free diving, and the winching. The sports will have both a competitive aspect to them as well as recreational.

Ultimate Frisbee Club
The objective of the Ultimate Disc Club is to give Eckerd students a chance to develop various aspects of physical fitness, meet new people, take advantage of the year-round sunshine, and compete against students of a different age level, ability level, gender or school.
***Membership is open to all male and female students and faculty***
Ultimate Disc Club has regularly scheduled practices, taking place outdoors regardless of weather conditions. The club competes in a number of off-campus (and out of state, on occasion) tournaments and leagues throughout the year. Members are expected to attend all practices and tournaments. Additional meetings may include organizational meetings to set practice schedules, order equipment, make decisions, or set up other club events. Optional conditioning is also be available for interested members.
