The Greenhorns explores the lives of America's young farming community - its spirit, practices, and needs. 'The Greenhorns' is an ode to their grit and entrepreneurial spirit, an exploration of sustainable agriculture, and an enticement to reclaim our national soil.
Introduced by Professor Kip Curtis, with "greenhorns" on hand to discuss their experience.
Nourish: Food + Community
Director: Kirk Bergstrom (English, 30m, 2009)
Hosted and narrated by Cameron Diaz.
Featuring Michael Pollan, Alice Waters, Jamie Oliver, Anna Lappé, Bryant Terry, and Dr. Nadine Burke
Nourish traces our relationship to food from a global perspective to personal action steps, illustrating connections to health, climate change, and social justice, and celebrating the role of good food in creating a sustainable future.
