The film will be introduced by the on-screen narrator and guide for the film, Dr. Curt Meine. Curt Meine is a conservation biologist, historian, and writer, who has worked on biodiversity conservation planning, sustainable agriculture, international development, crane and wetland conservation, prairie restoration, and development of community-based conservation programs. He is senior fellow with the Aldo Leopold Foundation, and director of the Conservation Biology and History Center for Humans and Nature.

Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic For Our Time is the first full length documentary to explore the life and work of the great American naturalist and environmentalist Aldo Leopold. The film traces his career and its impact, as one of the first major thinkers to explore the ethical implications of an ecological understanding of the Earth.
