Zipride Ridesharing

Zipride is a completely free ride-matching service for one-time trips and regular commutes. Eckerd College has taken yet another tangible step towards climate neutrality. Through its recent partnership with Zipride.com, Eckerd has introduced an online ridesharing forum where students, faculty and staff can find others to share rides. Have a car? Wanna save on gas?

Register for the service and search for "Rides Wanted." Contact as many matches as you'd like (or as many as will legally fit into your car). If you can't find a travel companion (which we sincerely hope doesn't happen), go ahead and Offer Your Ride. This will make your travel plans searchable by others who just might enjoy your company (and the comfort of your vehicle). They'll then be in touch with you, and you can decide if you'd like to take them along or not.

No car? Just don't wanna drive?

Search for "Rides Offered" and look up some good potential drivers. No luck? Add your travel plans to our database so that drivers can find you and take you where you need to go. It's that simple, and it's completely free. Have fun, be safe, and happy Zipping.
