EC Clean

The EC CLEAN campaign aims to prevent the spread of communicable disease by promoting the Eckerd College Immunization Policy, providing personal hygiene education and increasing access to hand sanitation on campus.

Students, make sure you have the required immunizations!

Eckerd college requires that all students receive vaccines for Hepatits B, Bacterial Meningitis, and Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR).  Other recommended immunizations include:  Tetanus-Diaphtheria-Pertussis, Polio, Varicella (Chicken Pox), and Human Papillomavirus (HPV).  A screening for Tuberculosis is also recommended.

EC CLEAN Hand Sanitizer Dispensers

hand sanitizers

Hand sanitizer dispensers are located in all dining facilities, the offices of health and counseling services, the fitness center, computer labs, student mailboxes, and in other high traffic areas of campus.  Prevent the spread of disease by sanitizing your hands daily.  While hand sanitation is an excellent substitute when soap and water are not available, traditional handwashing is still the preferred method for disease prevention.
