As part of its commitment to lifelong learning, Eckerd College provides full tuition assistance for eligible employee’s domestic partners and ASPEC members to further their academic goals through the Courtesy Scholarship program.

I. The Eckerd College Courtesy Scholarship Program

A. All qualified domestic partners must meet the established criteria established by the college. Please contact the Human Resources Office for detailed information.

B. ASPEC Members and Associate Members, only, are eligible for the Courtesy Scholarship.

C. Domestic Partners and ASPEC Members must be enrolled as degree seeking students or the scholarship is taxed.

II. Eligibility

A. All conditions for application and admission to the college follow the Tuition Remission policy. Please see the Tuition Remission Policy.

III. Procedures

The Courtesy Scholarship form must be completed and approved by the Human Resources Office. Approval by the Human Resources signifies that the applicant is eligible for the benefit not for admission to the program. (The Courtesy Scholarship forms are available in the Human Resources.)
