Amorous Relationship Policy
Updated 2/27/13
No faculty or staff members shall have a romantic and/or sexual relationship, consensual or otherwise, with any student or employee over whom they have current or anticipated teaching, evaluative, supervisory, or mentoring responsibilities. Even when such responsibilities do not exist, romantic and/or sexual relationships between faculty/staff and current students or employees are strongly discouraged and must be promptly disclosed by the parties involved to the appropriate dean or administrative officer. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the college. In the case of faculty, such disciplinary actions may be appealed to the appropriate appeals committee.
