As the College continues to celebrate its 50th Anniversary, we are pleased to announce many exciting programs for students who wish to study abroad. Faculty-led Eckerd Study Centers have now grown from our Gower Street Centre in London to the China Study Center in Xiamen (now in its third year), to the Latin American Center at the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico. These centers expand the range of semester study abroad options, while keeping students’ financial aid packages intact.
Eckerd faculty who are directing the programs at the study centers – Ed Grasso, Spring Semester in London; Antonio Melchor, Spring Semester in Mexico; and Claire Stiles, Spring Semester in China – have extensive experience in leading international study programs.
After a record-setting 2008 Winter Term during which 340 students participated in off-campus programs around the world, our faculty have again created a list of offerings to destinations that are certain to pique the interest of all our students.
