Eckerd College is offering the opportunity to offset your carbon emissions by supporting sustainability efforts on campus. The "Eckerd College Offset Fund" is a simple and effective way to reduce your overall carbon emissions from school sponsored travel. This carbon offset represents a real reduction in greenhouse gas emissions to balance the emissions you are producing by flying overseas.

Instead of paying money to a third-party company, Eckerd is going to apply the fund directly toward sustainability projects around campus. The money collected from this year's trips will go to a designated project chosen by students.
