The Eckerd College Offset Fund

Be Part of the Solution

Eckerd College is offering the opportunity to offset your carbon emissions by supporting sustainability efforts on campus. The "Eckerd College Offset Fund" is a simple and effective way to reduce your overall carbon emissions from school sponsored travel. This carbon offset represents a real reduction in greenhouse gas emissions to balance the emissions you are producing by flying overseas.

Instead of paying money to a third-party company, Eckerd is going to apply the fund directly toward sustainability projects around campus. The money collected from this year's trips will go to a designated project chosen by students. If you are interested in participating, please see Evan Bollier in the Gamma Lounge computer room, who is coordinating this effort. If you have questions, contact Evan Bollier.
