Spring-Into-Summer
Eckerd has developed a new model known as spring-into-summer. Students register for class as part of their spring semester and prepare for travel that commences at the end of that semester. Destinations for these programs are announced in November of each academic year.

Holocaust Memory in the Present: Berlin and Poland
How does the Holocaust affect the post-war cultural life of Germany and Poland? This Spring-into-Summer course, led by Professor Jared Stark, explores the complex evolution of Holocaust memory in Berlin, Germany, and in various cities and towns in Poland, featuring interactive, guided study of major memorial sites.
The Hague and International Law
The International Relations and Global Affairs (IRGA) discipline and the Office of International Education are pleased to present a "Spring-into-Summer" course in The Hague and Strasbourg.
United Nations in Geneva
Dr. William Felice, 2006 Florida Professor of the Year, led a group of students to the United Nations in Geneva. This Spring-Into-Summer course offers a unique opportunity to examine the work of the affiliated agencies of the United Nations (UN) and the international community in Geneva, Switzerland.
Previous programs have also taken place in Africa, Australia, Bermuda, Czech Republic, Ireland, Switzerland and other destinations around the globe.
