About the Tour
The 2005 Tour of Italy takes the choir on a trip across Italy with performances in:
Rome
Participate in Mass at St. Peter's Basilica
Concert - Chiesa di Sant'Andrea Della Valle
Siena
Participate in Mass at Siena Duomo
Florence
Concert at St. Stefano
Treviso
Concert at St. Caterina
In addition to performing, the choir will take time to soak in the rich history and amazing destinations in Italy. Stops in Rome include the Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Victor Emmanuel Monument, Capitoline Museum, Quirinale Palace, Pantheon, Castel Sant Angelo, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican Museum, St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel.
The choir will spend days in Siena and Florence, visiting the Academy of Fine Arts and moving on to Venice, the main island of San Marco and visiting St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace.
In the final days of the tour, the choir will visit Milan and make stops at the entrance to Sante Marie delle Grazie (home of "The Last Supper" by da Vinci) and the Duomo (largest Gothic cathedral in Italy).
