A web site has been created to provide, in one place, the information that faculty will need to utilize the available technology at EckerdCollege.

The web site is not yet complete, but it already contains lots of information, including

Web Resources

• Where to obtain good, free software -- OpenOffice, CutePDF, etc.
• Where to go for email aliases, WebMail, Email Quarantines, Calendar, etc.

Cyber Lyceum

• How to manage Cyber Lyceum Links and Icons
• How to manage handouts and its icon
• How to manage grades and its icon
• How to manage office hours and its icon
• Step-by-step directions for using the features

Posting Documents

• Posting documents using both Windows and Macintosh computers
• Restricting access to the posted documents

How to do other things

• How to use the CMS (content management system)
• How to use editing and other features in MSWord

We plan to add more information and resources to this site. Suggestions are welcome so that the ARC site can become the useful starting place for any faculty member who wishes to do anything involving technology.
