Some of the recent projects related to Banner that have been completed include:

• Moving to a new Unix machine and upgrading to Oracle 9i.
  
• Streamlining the damage billing process incorporating the Infacta mass emailing system and web display
  
• Redesign of the payroll checks to provide detail on benefits that Eckerd pays for the employee.

Some of the projects that are currently underway include:

• Improved Faculty/Staff/Department Directory. The goal of this project is to enhance the current on-line directory and outline procedures for maintenance of the related information.
  
• Course Catalog. As the new 2-year catalog is being developed, we are determining the best ways to incorporate Banner in the maintenance and redisplay of the information.
  
• Development of processing to provide deposited students Eckerd emails and access to the ECWeb resources.
  
• Departmental web pages are being either created or reviewed. The current aim of this project to towards needs to newly deposited students.
