What Information Does Eckerd Collect?
In the course of ensuring network security and consistent

do such things as monitor network traffic, identify potential
unauthorized access or access to nonpublic information, and to
detect computer viruses and other software that might damage
College computers or the network. Software is also used to monitor
and tune the performance of the College network. In the course of
such monitoring, these programs may detect information such as IP
addresses, e-mail headers, and addresses from network packets.
Information from these activities is used only for the purpose of
maintaining the security and performance of the College's networks
and computer systems. Personally identifiable information from
these activities is not released to internal or external parties
without your consent unless required by law or College policy.

boards, and/or news groups may also be made available to visitors
to our site. Eckerd encourages you to remember that information
disclosed in public forums is public information, and caution
should be exercised when disclosing personal information.
If a user has voluntarily made his/her accounts public then the
College may monitor, without notice, that person's activities,
accounts, and use of College computing resources, including
individual login sessions and communications. This may also be done
when monitoring appears necessary to protect the integrity,
security, or functionality of College resources or to protect the
College from liability.
