Transfer & Cancellation Policy
Before a program begins, the Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College incurs substantial administrative costs related to your registration. Therefore, we have established the following Transfer and Cancellation Policy.
Cancellations
Registrations canceled less than eight weeks prior to the start of a program will incur a charge of 25% of the full program fee; within four weeks of the program, 50% will be charged; within two weeks, 100% of the full program tuition will be forfeited.
Transfers
Transfers occurring eight weeks prior to the program will incur an administrative fee of 10% of the full tuition fee; within four weeks of the program, 25% of the full program fee will be charged; within two weeks of the program, 50% will be charged.
*For transfers occurring between eight and five weeks prior to the program start date, the fee may be waived if the registered participant immediately selects a new program date or can send a substitute to the original program date. The substitute must be able to complete the pre-course materials on time. Substitute participants may be asked to absorb the cost of express shipping of the pre-course assessment materials and may be required to do a very quick turn-around on that work, often involving several hours.
