Did you know that dancing is one of the best exercises for your body – and for brain health? It’s also a way to stay active and meet people. Don’t have a dance partner? No problem. Let’s line dance!
A line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines all facing the same direction, and execute the steps at the same time. These dancers are not in physical contact with each other. Though line dancing emerged from country/western music, it continues to evolve, absorbing modern trends, urban sophistication, swing syncopations, flowing waltz, and Latin flavor, all danced in lines. Do your body, your brain, and your sense of fun a favor and join us for this very enjoyable activity.
