Admission and Enrollment

As the first step in the admissions process, we suggest a short meeting with an admissions counselor. An admissions counselor will introduce you to the program, help you determine financial aid opportunities, discuss transfer and experiential credit opportunities, and guide you through the admissions process.  If you are transferring courses from other colleges or universities, we can provide you with a preliminary evaluation to show the amount of transfer credit that might be awarded, just set up a meeting with one of our admissions counselors.

Admission Requirements

If you are over the age of 23 and have graduated from high school or earned a GED, you meet the qualifications to apply for admission to PEL. No previous college credit is required. Transfer credit and experiential learning credit may be awarded upon review of documentation.

If you are a previously admitted PEL student and have not taken classes in two years or more, start by completing the readmission form (PDF).  If you have not taken classes between one and two years, contact the main PEL office at 727-864-8226.
