Tuition and Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid at Eckerd College is available to assist you in completing all the applications necessary to receive assistance. Federal, state and institutional funds are available to students. Financial aid may be in the form of scholarships, grants or loans. Scholarships and grants do not require repayment. Federal loans have the repayment of principal deferred until a student is no longer enrolled at least half time.

Your first and most important step in the financial aid process is to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Eckerd College's Federal code number is 001487.  The FAFSA must still be completed even if a student is only applying for scholarships and/or in-house loans.

If you require financial assistance for the Life, Learning and Vocation (LLV) class, please see the eligibility requirements for the PEL Financial Aid Quick Start on the Download Forms page.

For more information, please consider attending one of our upcoming Financial Aid workshops, held at the local PEL centers before each term. Developing a financial plan along with your degree plan is recommended for attaining your goal of a bachelor's degree.
